Adelaide Belt & Hose was founded in 1988, to provide a higher level of goods and service than was available at that time. During that 34 years of continual growth period, we have always provided a service level to match the urgency of the occasion, whether it be flying in same day parts or assisting with the delivery to site, all of which is available 24 hours 7 days.
We have already assisted several new mine sites with their initial constructions build up to full site production and also assisted with their future maintenance planning, in the areas of Power Transmission and Fluid Handling Solutions.
Services Provided
Vee Belts
The range of Vee belts include Cars, Truck, Forklift, Earthmoving, Pumps, Air conditioning, Crushers plus a range of mine and quarry applications. Together with the vee belts, we also supply a full range of taper lock style pulleys and bushes.
Hoses
As a major Industrial Hose Supplier, we cover both the PVC, RUBBER & Polyflex thermoplastic hose markets, with brands such as Continental, RX Plastics, Parker, PolyFlex Thermoplastic hose, which include the following applications:
Air, Water, Oil & Fuel, Acid & Chemicals, Pneumatic Tankers, Concrete, Slurry & Mud pumping, Sand and other material handling situations.
We are able to assemble hose and fittings to customer requirements, pressure test each assembly and supply test certificates as per our customer’s requirements.
ABH is a member of the world wide hose and fitting association called "NAHAD", who have set a range of standard guidelines for the assembly of hose and fittings. Our staff at ABH are qualified NAHAD hose assemblers. This new Qualification guarantees to the customer, that all assemblies have been assembled, using the latest techniques, which provide safer hose usage and less onsite hose failures
Most hose assemblies up to 150mm id, are now being crimped, which provides a new safer connection between hose and end fittings. A major OH&S improvement
This is becoming a major OH & S issue at a lot of sites, especially mine sites that have to meet the new standards. (MDG41 Guidelines for Fluid Power System Safety at Mines)
Due to our recent investment into a new large showroom and warehouse together with large stocks, we are able to arrange urgent deliveries when needed to prevent costly downtime.
